Job Descriptions for Branch Accountants

1. Preparing Sales advises in ERP.
2. Billing & CNRs & proper maintaining of billing records like Customer orders, Bills & delivery challans duly accepted by customers. Requirements from HO Marketing & Logistics.
3. Preparation & Maintaining petty cash disbursement & recording with proper supports.
4. Verification of expense bills, sales force claims for traveling & branch managers’ imprest account. Proper TDS deductions while making the payments.
5. DCS preparation in ERP for collections made by branches & timely depositing the same in Collection Bank.
6. Co-ordination with HO for accounts.
7. Periodical physical Stock Verifications.
8. Records for EMSD/Bank Guarantees.
9. Ensuring timely deposit of statutory dues other than paid by HO like Qualified tax.
10. Framing asset cards & maintaining asset register with periodic physical counting.
11.



Handling internal auditors & providing settlement of queries along with BM/ZM/RSM/ZSM.
12. Day to day accounting for Sales/ purchase / transfer order/ Goods from Microsoft BC.
13. Verification of transportation bills, Expenses as per company policy.
14. To monitor the outstanding debtors and ageing report, work towards immediate collection of due Bank Guarantees / EMSD.
15. Analysis transactions for correct recognition of revenue and expenditure under different heads.
16. Reconciliation of Imprest account, vendor statements and debtors’ account.
17. Maintain proper records of sales and purchase transactions as per GST Act, original copy of invoices and authenticated documents.
18. To the custodian of the branch for managing finance function, Fixed assets, inventory management.
19. Documents for insurance claim for transit damage etc.
