Role purpose:
- Assess, design and implement new products & services through different Releases on Oracle ASAP to ensure reaching the required business needs.
- Ensure that ASAP architecture is aligned with Enterprise Architecture
- Support test teams, and business product managers throughout testing phases of the releases.
- Support deployment including writing deployment guides, raising RFCs.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to design & implement capability enhancements.
- Report & highlight to Service Fulfilment Domain manager any risks or issues in design and build.
- Support operations team in analysing issues reported in live workplace.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in product & solution development in a Telco or at a technology vendor with a telecommunication focus.
- Knowledge of Voice, Data, Video, Wireless technologies
- Configuration of SRT,



Service Cartridge and Network Cartridge in Activation System, preferred Oracle ASAP 7.3.0 and above
- Highly Skilled in Programming using Java/J2EE, Web Services Client, XML and XSLT
- Expertise in implementing applications using Oracle Database 11g/12c, SQL, PL/SQL is required.
- Experience implementing integration using JMS, SAF agents etc. and WebLogic 11g/12c Administration
- Required experience in Linux, Unix Shell scripting, GIT, Design Studio , etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of using Oracle Design Studio for development and deployment.
- Analysis, debugging and resolution of failed Orders. Reviewing existing cartridges. Deployment of new functionalities, revision and un-deployment of older functionalities.
- Preferred Hands-on integration experience with Nokia/Alcatel Core and Access NEs
