We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong foundation in Statistics to join our team in the trading/financial markets domain. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with data, applying statistical techniques, and using Python to analyze market and business data.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends and patterns.
- Apply statistical methods for data analysis and interpretation.
- Work with financial/market data and generate actionable insights.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and exploratory data analysis.
- Build statistical reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
- Use Python for data extraction, analysis, and automation.
- Work with time-series data and understand basic forecasting concepts.
- Collaborate with trading, research, and technology teams.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Statistics and Probability.
- Good knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy; SciPy is a plus)
- Understanding of regression, hypothesis testing, correlation, distributions, and time-series analysis.




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of financial markets/trading is preferred.
- Positive communication skills.

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Candidates with strong statistical fundamentals from other quantitative disciplines may also apply.
