Key Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Wave Owner is responsible for the end-to-end management and coordination of cutover activities for servers within their assigned move group during cloud migration waves. This role serves as the central point of accountability for ensuring successful migration execution,



from initial planning through hypercare support.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Planning & Coordination
• Manage all cutover activities for servers in scope within the assigned move group
• Engage with PA team to confirm design sign-off status and resolve any outstanding design issues
• Mobilise the migration execution teams to develop comprehensive cutover plans
• Ensure completion of intake forms and initiation of server replication processes
• Coordinate cutover execution and post-migration hypercare activities
• Schedule and lead cutover planning and cutover sessions

Cutover Plan Management
- Review and validate cutover plans for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure alignment between technical execution plans and designs
• Track and manage cutover plan dependencies and critical path items

Stakeholder Engagement & Pre-Cutover Activities
- Engage with Sanlam business and technical teams to ensu
