- Assist the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef in the day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section.
- Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, cookies, and other bakery products according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portion size, quality, and presentation.
- Complete daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared and available before service.
- Assist in the preparation of desserts for restaurants, buffets, banquets, weddings, and special events.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and presentation standards set by the Pastry Chef.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, temperature control, and FIFO rotation of ingredients and finished products.
- Assist with stock taking, requisitioning, and monitoring of pastry and bakery ingredients.




- Minimize food wastage through proper portion control and efficient use of ingredients.
- Operate pastry and bakery equipment safely and report any maintenance issues to the Chef or Engineering team.
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert items and contribute creative ideas for presentations.
- Support and guide Commis Chefs, trainees, and junior kitchen team members when required.
- Coordinate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service operations.
- Maintain personal grooming and professional standards as per hotel policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, or management.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
