Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor network security infrastructure including Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Proxy and WAF.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, FortiGate or similar next-generation firewalls.
- Implement and maintain Firewall policies, NAT, ACLs, VPN tunnels and security rules.
- Monitor security events and investigate suspicious network traffic and potential security incidents.
- Troubleshoot IPsec and SSL VPN, site-to-site and remote-access connectivity issues.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, security hardening and access-control management.
- Analyze network traffic using tools such as Wireshark, packet capture and firewall logs.
- Work with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar or Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring and incident investigation.
- Support vulnerability remediation, security assessments and network security audits.
- Coordinate with Network, SOC,



System and Application teams to resolve security and connectivity issues.
- Maintain network/security documentation, change records and incident reports.
- Follow ITIL/change-management processes for production changes and security implementations.

Technical Skills:
- Firewalls: Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Firepower
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, Routing, Switching
- Security: VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, ACL, SSL/IPsec, Network Segmentation
- Monitoring/SIEM: Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel
- Tools: Wireshark, Nmap, ping, traceroute
- Protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, SNMP
- Cloud Security: AWS/Azure networking and security basics
- Ticketing/Process: ServiceNow, Incident/Problem/Change Management

Experience: 35 years in Network Security / Network Security Engineering.

Preferred Certifications: CCNA/CCNP Security, PCNSA, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Security+ or equivalent.
