This position is responsible to a crash and safety team under the supervision of CAE regional head/ SME to arrange and provide technical training and create a competitive setting and accountability among team members. You will have responsibility for:
- Foremost responsibility includes maximizing project team utilization while ensuring maximization of project level contribution margins.
- Needs to ensure that adequate training related to Crash Domain is provided to the team of engineers who are working on the project to make sure they are fully capable of delivering project deliverables. A Project Manager is typically assisted by Team Leads who handle Team Members from Crash Team.
- Carry out regular technical crash analysis perspective activities which include interfacing with onsite delivery Manager or liaison for day-today operational activities.
- Needs to mentor the team to enable them to progress in their careers and also influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Provide necessary support to SMEs and other team members to help them create Knowledge Database for Crash Domain.
- Day today interaction with Onsite Manager for Crash domain project developments. As Model Build/ Analysis phase of a module is completed, a presentation is made to the client. Suggestions/feedbacks from the client are discussed with the Program Manager, and onsite coordinator to ensure that changes are incorporated accordingly.
- Carry out performance reviews of the team periodically and addresses their concerns. He/she needs to ensure that project milestones are met as per the schedule agreed with customer.
- He / She would need to be conversant with TTL proprietary GEM tool to monitor project milestones and assign WBS for team members working on the project.
