Job Description - Australian SMSF Accountant

Position :- Australian SMSF Accountant

Location :- Ahmedabad

Experience :- 5-7 Years

Employment Type :- Full-time | Work from Office

Job Responsibilities

* Prepare and review **SMSF financial statements and annual accounts**.

* Handle **SMSF compliance and taxation work** for Australian clients.

* Prepare supporting workpapers, reconciliations, and documentation.

* Work on **SMSF tax returns** and related compliance requirements.

* Process transactions including investments, contributions, pensions, and superannuation.

* Ensure work is completed accurately and within Australian compliance requirements.

* Coordinate with internal teams and Australian clients when required.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum **5+ years of experience in Australian SMSF accounting**.





* Robust knowledge of **Australian Superannuation and SMSF compliance**.

* Experience in preparing **SMSF financial statements and tax returns**.

* Hands-on experience with SMSF software such as **BGL Simple Fund 360, Class Super, or similar software**.

* Knowledge of **Xero, MYOB, or other Australian accounting software** will be an advantage.

* Good understanding of Australian accounting and taxation processes.

* Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate

* Candidates with hands-on experience working with **Australian SMSF clients**.

* Immediate joiners or candidates with a shorter notice period will be preferred.
