Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead design projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Conduct DFMEA, APQP, ECR, Root Cause Analysis, VAVE studies to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Develop cost reduction strategies through process improvements and material selection.
Job Requirements :
- 6-10 years of experience in senior design engineer role in the auto components industry.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software for designing complex mechanical parts.
- Robust understanding of costing principles for effective budget management.
- Experience with problem-solving techniques such as 8D Problem Solving.
