Role: Team Lead - Presales

Job Summary

The Team Leader Career Specialist is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals focused on student enrollments for online and offline learning programs. The role involves driving sales performance, mentoring team members, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring effective lead

management and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Career Specialists to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Handle escalations from parents/students and support the team in complex cases.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, discipline, and timelines.

Sales & Enrollment
- Drive enrollments through inbound and outbound calling to parents and students.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly team targets.
- Personally manage high-priority or critical leads when required.
- Ensure effective follow-up and conversion of assigned leads.

Operations & Process Management
- Monitor call quality,



lead conversion ratios, and CRM data accuracy.
- Ensure proper maintenance of lead databases, MIS, and reports.
- Analyze performance trends and implement corrective action plans.
- Align weekly deliverables and sales expectations with management.

Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Academic teams to improve conversion and customer experience.
- Prepare and present regular performance and productivity reports.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of current team members.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Inside Sales / Business Development / Education Sales.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience handling a sales team.
- Graduate/Postgraduate (B.Com / BBA / MBA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in tele-sales, lead conversion, and target-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
