Cloud Data Platform Engineer – Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for a
Data Platform Engineer
to build and optimize scalable data platform solutions. The role will focus on
data modeling, advanced SQL, metadata management, distributed data platforms, and vector databases
.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable
data platform solutions
.
- Build and optimize data models and complex SQL queries.
- Work with
ClickHouse or similar distributed data platforms
in production.
- Perform query optimization, partitioning, aggregations, and performance tuning.
- Manage metadata, data cataloging, and lineage using
OpenMetadata / Collate
.
- Work with
vector databases
such as pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB.
- Develop scalable data ingestion and processing solutions.




- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on data platform requirements.

Must-Have Skills
- Advanced
SQL
- Data Modeling
- OpenMetadata / Collate
- ClickHouse or similar distributed data platform
with 1–2 years of hands-on experience
- Production-level experience with distributed database optimization
- Experience with
Vector Databases
– pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB

Positive to Have
- GraphQL
- Java basics / Spring Boot
- DP Studio / Backoffice
- LLM / MCP knowledge

Note:
Candidates should have
production-level experience
with ClickHouse or a similar distributed data platform; general/basic ClickHouse exposure is not sufficient.
