Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

· Record and maintain daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.

· Verify invoices, vouchers, bills and supporting documents before accounting.

· Maintain proper accounting documentation and records for future reference.

· Ensure accounting entries are accurate and properly classified.

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

· Prepare and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.

2. GST Compliance

· Maintain proper GST-related accounting records and documentation.

· Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase records.

· Identify and follow up with vendors regarding purchase and GST mismatches.

· Prepare and file GSTR-3B returns accurately within statutory timelines.

· Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of input tax credit.

· Support other GST-related compliance and documentation as required.

3. TDS, TCS & Statutory Compliance





· Ensure timely compliance with TDS and TCS requirements.

· Calculate and record TDS/TCS accurately.

· Prepare and coordinate timely filing of TDS/TCS returns.

· Maintain proper records of statutory deductions and payments.

· Ensure compliance with applicable Income Tax and other statutory accounting requirements.

· Maintain supporting documents and records for statutory compliance.

4. Bank & Financial Reconciliation

· Perform regular bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.

· Verify bank transactions against accounting records.

· Maintain proper records of bank payments and receipts.

· Monitor outstanding bank-related transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.

· Assist in maintaining accurate cash and bank balances.

5. Vendor & Payment Management

· Maintain and update the vendor payment list.

· Track vendor payment due dates and payment status.

· Verify vendor invoices and supporting documents before payment proc
