Role & responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT and MRI procedures.
- Perform IV cannulation and maintain IV access as required.
- Assist with contrast-enhanced CT/MRI procedures as per radiologist's instructions and centre protocols.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after contrast administration.
- Identify and immediately report any contrast reaction or deterioration in patient condition.
- Check and record vital signs when required.
- Perform appropriate MRI safety screening and identify potential contraindications/metallic implants as per protocol.
- Explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients.
- Assist the radiologist and radiology technologist during patient procedures and emergencies.
- Maintain proper patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and emergency protocols.
- Ensure proper care of patients before and after the procedure.

Preferred candidate profile

4-5 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, preferably in a diagnostic centre, radiology department, CT/MRI centre, or hospital radiology unit. Freshers with relevant training may also be considered if you are open to them.
