Business Development & Operations Intern (Loan Against Property)

*Internship | Duration: 6 months | Location: Bangalore*

Job Summary / Objective:

Rupeek is piloting a Loan Against Property (LAP) product in Bangalore and is looking for a Business Development & Operations Intern to drive customer outreach and keep the pilot's day-to-day operations running smoothly. The intern will be the first point of contact for prospective LAP customers calling leads in Kannada, qualifying interest, scheduling Relationship Manager (RM) visits, and maintaining accurate collections/finance trackers — directly supporting the pilot's growth and data-quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound calling to existing and prospective customers for the Loan Against Property (LAP) product (Kannada mandatory)
- Qualify leads, follow up on enquiries, and schedule customer meetings / Property Document (PD) visits
- Maintain Excel/CRM trackers for calls, leads, and collections/finance follow-ups
- Support documentation and coordination for the LAP pilot, including manual operational tasks




- Assist with any other ad hoc business and operations activities as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Final-year undergraduate or recent graduate — BBA / B.Com / BBM/BMS / BA (Economics); MBA 1st-year students (looking for a semester internship) also considered
- Fluent in Kannada (mandatory)
- Based in Bangalore, or willing to work from the office.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales, customer support, or operations (not mandatory — freshers are welcome)
- Exposure to calling-heavy, target-driven, or field-sales roles
- Familiarity with CRM or tracker-based workflows.

Skills & Competencies:
- Fluent Kannada, with good spoken English and Hindi
- Comfortable making 50–100 calls/day with confidence and clarity
- Basic working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Ownership and initiative to operate in a rapid-paced, startup environment.
