Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
- Develop and optimize COBOL programs.
- Create and maintain JCL for batch processing.
- Work with DB2, VSAM, and CICS applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct code reviews and follow development standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testing teams, and stakeholders.
- Support application deployment and release activities.

Essential Skills
- Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
- Hands-on experience with Mainframe development and support.




- Knowledge of Mainframe utilities such as IDCAMS, SORT, FILE-AID, and XPEDITOR.
- Experience with batch processing and online transaction systems.
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in BFSI domain.
- Knowledge of Endevor, Changeman, or other source control tools.
- Exposure to IMS DB/DC.
- Experience with Mainframe modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of MQ Series and Web Services integration.
