Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer – Database with strong experience in database architecture, administration, development, and performance optimisation for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MongoDB, cloud databases, and geospatial data processing.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead database architecture, administration, and development for enterprise systems.
- Design and optimise high-performance database solutions.
- Manage PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and MongoDB environments.
- Develop complex SQL, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL queries and procedures.
- Implement geospatial processing and spatial indexing solutions.
- Design NoSQL data models and MongoDB aggregation pipelines.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimisation.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and access controls.




- Work with cloud database platforms including AWS RDS, Azure PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas.
- Collaborate with application development teams and bridge database operations with application architecture.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in database/platform engineering.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and MongoDB.
- Excellent SQL, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL skills.
- Strong knowledge of geospatial processing and spatial indexing.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL data modelling and aggregation frameworks.
- Strong expertise in performance tuning and query optimisation.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of database security and compliance.
- Experience with cloud database services.
- Robust communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
