Role & responsibilities
- Allocate vehicle schedules and assign daily delivery or pickup routes to drivers based on geography and priority.
- Monitor fleet movements and transit progress via GPS tracking and Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Handle live routing adjustments due to traffic, vehicle breakdowns, or sudden schedule shifts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for driver updates, customer inquiries, and load coordination.
- Check and manage driver paperwork, transport logs, fuel receipts, and manifest documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing intervals, track mileage, and report vehicle defects to workshops or managers.
- Help track driver hours, perform pre-departure safety reviews, and verify compliance with regional transport regulations
- Willing to work only in night shifts
