Purpose of the Role:

1. Process planning in assembly Section

2. Development activities to improve the productivity, assy processes, work practices, efficiency and utilisation

3. Fixtures manufacturing, assembly & proving for process improvement

4. Establish TQM and ACME way of manufacturing across the assembly

5. Establish a safe working workplace and demonstrate positive safety behaviors and attitude"

Role Description:

1. Effective assembly process implementation through optimum utilisation of resources

2. Develop function testers with stake holders to meet the functional aspects

3. Implement fatigue free operations across the assembly by material handling techniques

4. Define & implement facilities to improve the productivity, optimum utilisation of man power through line balncing, ACME & TQM concepts

5. Provide & Train operator / technician to improve their skill set and ensure defect free products

Design the process layout with erognomic and TQM concepts

7. Responsible for manpower planning and capacity planning to meet the schedules by re-deploying the resources

8. Develop NPD with stake holders by facility enhancement

9. Implement robust process across the assembly by low cost automation techniques

10. Establish the assembly process and reduce the product cost through value engineering and re-engineering techniques

11. Supervise sub-ordinates for Productivity, Quality, Cost, Safety and Morale

12. Prepare capital forecast, budget planning for tools and consumables

13. Work with automation team for SMART factory implementation through transformation & INDUSTRY 4.0 techniques
