Technical Writer Job Description

Location-Bangalore (WFO)

We are seeking a skilled technical writer with over 5+ years of experience for a contract role. They will support in technical documentation and manual updates for existing product lines. Working on Adobe creative cloud applications.

Role & responsibilities
- Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and marketing to update the manuals and documents as per customer requirements.
- Creates infographics and screenshot markups using engineering tools to capture content.
- Format content using diagrams, charts, and images to improve user comprehension.
- Update existing documentation regularly to reflect product upgrades and changes.

Preferred candidate profile




- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of technical writing experience.
- Ability to write user-friendly, engaging copy about technical subjects.
- Working knowledge on Adobe creative cloud applications like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and PDF editor.
- Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for a general audience
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- English writing and communications, ability to translate to Italian and German is a plus
- Portfolio of technical writing samples for review.
