Role & responsibilities
- Inspection of incoming materials and Stage inspection for manufactured equipment at all stages.
- Knowledge on manufacturing process, stage inspection and clearance during equipment manufacturing process.
- Knowledge in Witnessing WPS, PQR and approval of welders.
- Knowledge in ISO, ASME, TEMA & API codes and responsible for training and managing teams for respective audits.
- Responsible for right documentation and maintaining the codes. inspection procedures and records.
- Co-ordinating with third party inspection agencies for inspections & approvals.
- Knowledge in study of equipment drawings and giving right instructions to production team.
- Educating the workforce on recent processes, safety material,
welding and other procedures to workmen and shop floor team.
- Vendor inspections and quality checks of ordered products / materials.
Preferred candidate profile
- Candidate should have 15-20 years experience in QA/QC function in any heavy fabrication industry. Exotic materials fabrication industry is preferable.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standard, ASME, TEMA & API codes etc codes.
- Candidate must be ASNT level II for RT, UT, MPI & LPI
- Should have good knowledge of welding procedures on carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic materials like titanium & Nickel alloys.
