We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager who can take ownership of business development in Bangalore and surrounding markets.
The role will primarily focus on identifying new customers, developing business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships and growing AICPL's packaging business across our target industries.
Key Responsibilities
*Identify and develop current business opportunities across pharma, food, automotive, engineering and other relevant industries.
*Build a strong pipeline of prospective customers and convert opportunities into business.
*Develop relationships with purchase, engineering, R&D;, quality and senior management teams at customer organisations.
*Understand customer requirements and work closely with AICPL's R&D;, design, tooling and production teams to develop suitable packaging solutions.
*Generate enquiries, prepare proposals and quotations,
follow up systematically and drive opportunities towards closure.
*Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for additional business.
*Conduct regular customer visits and maintain a strong understanding of the Bangalore market.
*Track competitors, market trends, customer requirements and emerging opportunities.
*Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements internally to support current product development and improvements.
*Achieve agreed sales and business development targets and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.
*Coordinate with production, logistics and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
*Maintain regular updates through CRM / sales reporting systems.
Take ownership of the Bangalore territory and contribute to building AICPL's long-term customer base in the region.
