We are looking for a creative, fashion-forward and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern who understands Instagram, trends and content creation.

You will work closely with the founder and the brand team to plan, create and execute engaging content for Thread Theory’s social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and grow Thread Theory’s Instagram and other social media platforms.

* Plan and execute a monthly/weekly social media content calendar.

* Create and assist in creating Instagram Reels, Stories, posts and other short-form content.

* Be actively involved in shoots, styling, behind-the-scenes content and product shoots.

* Identify current Instagram, fashion and social media trends and creatively adapt them for the brand.

* Develop creative concepts for Reels and campaigns that align with Thread Theory’s brand identity.

* Assist with influencer collaborations, PR activities and creator outreach.

* Write engaging captions and develop content ideas.

* Monitor social media performance and provide insights on what content is working.





* Keep up with competitor activity and emerging fashion/social media trends.

* Assist with photoshoots, launches, exhibitions and other brand events when required.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong interest in fashion, styling and social media.

* Excellent understanding of Instagram and current social media trends.

* Creative eye for aesthetics, fashion and visual storytelling.

* Comfortable being on shoots and working in a fast-paced creative environment.

* Positive communication and organisational skills.

* Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or other content-creation/editing tools is preferred.

* Photography/videography or basic editing skills will be an added advantage.

* Someone who is proactive, takes initiative and can bring fresh ideas to the table.

* Prior experience managing a fashion/lifestyle brand’s social media is a plus, but not mandatory.
