PREFERRED INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: 15-20 years in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Edible Oil / Mustard Oil, with senior Sales Manager / HOD-level experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a result-oriented Sales & Marketing Head to build and lead the sales organisation for our mustard oil business. The role will drive distributor and dealer expansion, primary and secondary sales, trade schemes, market coverage, sales & marketing team performance, revenue and profitability. Initial focus: Gorakhpur, Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy for mustard oil and other edible oil products.
- Build, recruit, motivate and drive a strong Sales & Marketing team with clear territory-wise targets, KPIs and performance reviews.
- Appoint and develop Super Stockists, Stockists, Distributors, Dealers, Wholesalers and Retailers.
- Drive primary and secondary sales, retail coverage, product availability and market penetration.




- Design and implement performance-linked incentive schemes for the Sales & Marketing team, along with dealer/distributor incentives, trade schemes, discounts and promotions.
- Evaluate channel partners on financial strength, infrastructure, reach, existing portfolio and sales potential.
- Prepare district-wise, Tehsil-wise and territory-wise expansion plans and conduct regular market reviews.
- Monitor competitor pricing, packaging, margins, schemes and distribution strength and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics and Finance for forecasting, stock, dispatches, credit and collections.
- Review sales MIS, distributor-wise stock/outstanding/targets and continuously improve market share and profitability.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- MBA in Marketing from a recognised university/institution.
- 15-20 years of relevant Sales & Marketing experience in the FMCG / food product
