Role Overview

Ananth Technologies is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth from its Bengaluru operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing key accounts, identifying business opportunities, and converting enquiries into orders across aerospace, defence, space, and high-reliability electronics markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and order-book targets.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities in aerospace, defence, space, and electronics manufacturing.
- Build and maintain relationships with DPSUs, DRDO labs, ISRO centres, defence organisations, private-sector OEMs, and strategic customers.
- Generate enquiries and follow opportunities from initial lead through quotation, negotiation, and order closure.
- Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial proposals with Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.




- Track tenders, RFQs, RFIs, and upcoming customer programmes.
- Conduct regular customer visits and represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, customer records, and periodic management reports.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure timely follow-up on commercial and delivery-related matters.

Preferred Experience
- 8+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in aerospace, defence, electronics, engineering, or related industries.
- Proven track record of generating and closing business with institutional or OEM customers.
- Valuable understanding of technical products and solution-based selling.
- Existing relationships within the defence, aerospace, space, or electronics ecosystem will be preferred.
- Robust communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-management skills.
