Role & responsibilities
- Source and procure required materials, products, and services within budget and timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers/vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for smooth operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor relationships.
- Implement cost-saving procurement strategies without compromising quality.
- Conduct market research for pricing, products, and recent suppliers.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Candidate should have 25 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably related to construction materials. Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation, cost control, communication, and coordination skills are required. Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, able to work under pressure, and willing to travel to project sites.
