Role & responsibilities

Technical Operations & Production

Lead end-to-end Press Shop operations with hands-on expertise in Transfer, Progressive, and Tandem machine functions.

Apply deep technical knowledge of die manufacturing principles to optimize daily production lines and resolve technical bottlenecks.

Exercise complete control over the Press Shop department, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing cycles.

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure rigorous compliance with IATF 16949 and Automotive Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Spearhead continuous productivity and quality improvement initiatives utilizing Kaizen, 4M, and 5S methodologies.

Formulate and execute PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) plans, driving systemic improvements across the shop floor.

Maintenance & Resource Management

Oversee and enforce periodic Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all press machines to minimize downtime.





Accurately forecast and manage the monthly procurement requirements for consumable items and critical machine service parts.

Leadership, MIS & Cross-Functional Coordination

Prepare detailed Press Shop MIS and monthly performance data, presenting improvement activities and system controls to top management.

Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and technical guidance to shop floor engineers and supervisors.

Leverage strong communication and negotiation skills to drive seamless cross-departmental coordination and alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven managerial experience in a heavy-duty Press Shop (Automotive sector preferred).

Solid analytical skills with a data-driven approach to presenting MIS reports to management.

Exceptional leadership capabilities to manage and train shop floor personnel effectively.
