About the Role

PaisaBazaar is building India’s most trusted Mutual Funds platform. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in building the AMC and partner ecosystem from the ground up.

The role involves identifying and developing strategic partnerships with AMCs and distributors, driving partner acquisition, leading commercial discussions, and working closely with internal Product, Tech, Marketing and Leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch and onboard recent AMC and distribution partners.
- Own the end-to-end partner acquisition strategy for the Mutual Funds business.
- Build and manage relationships with AMCs and key distribution partners.
- Structure and negotiate commercial and partnership terms.
- Lead partner meetings and negotiations to convert prospects into signed partnerships.




- Work closely with Product and Technology teams to build and improve the partner journey.
- Develop scalable processes and playbooks for onboarding new partners.
- Track partnership pipeline, performance and business impact and present updates to senior stakeholders.

Requirements
- MBA from a Tier-1 B-School, OR Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business/Economics from a top-tier institution.
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Relationship Management or Partnerships.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in partnership acquisition / client acquisition / relationship handling will be preferred.
- Candidates with Fintech / BFSI / Mutual Funds / AMC / Wealth Management exposure will have an added advantage.
- Should be comfortable with frequent travel to Mumbai.
