Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Video Editor to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of professional video editing experience and a strong interest in creating engaging, high-quality short-form video content and Reels.
You should have a good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, music synchronization, and color correction, with the ability to turn raw footage into visually compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media content.
- Create creative and visually appealing edits based on project requirements.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading.
- Select suitable music, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
- Work closely with the creative and content teams to understand concepts and deliver high-quality videos.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends, Reel formats, transitions, and social media content styles.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in professional video editing.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of color correction and color grading.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and timing.
- Experience editing short-form content/Reels is preferred.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a creative team.
- Enthusiastic about learning current editing techniques and keeping up with social media trends.
