Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop injection molds for plastic components as per customer requirements and company standards.
- Review product designs and provide moldability recommendations.
- Coordinate with mold manufacturing vendors and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Follow up on mold manufacturing, trials, modifications, and qualification activities.
- Analyze molding defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support process optimization and product improvement initiatives.
- Interact directly with customers to discuss technical requirements, design changes, and project updates.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, reports, and project records.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for project tracking, reporting, and customer presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements




- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Injection Mold Design.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and tooling concepts.
- Experience in mold manufacturing follow-up and project coordination.
- Expertise in defect analysis, root cause identification, and process/product improvement.
- Familiarity with mold design standards, DFM, and tooling best practices

Software Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with mold design software (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

- Robust customer-facing experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Focused on quality, continuous improvement, and timely project delivery.
