Job Title: Junior Accountant Intern

Location: On-site / Work from Office

Duration: 3 Months

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant Intern to join our finance and accounts team. This internship will provide practical exposure to day-to-day accounting activities, financial documentation, bookkeeping, data entry, and basic financial reporting in a professional work workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and organize financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Maintain and update accounting records and spreadsheets.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support bank and account reconciliation activities.
- Verify financial documents and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing basic accounting reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Assist with data entry and updating financial records.
- Support the accounts team with day-to-day administrative tasks.




- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or a related accounting/finance course.
- Final-year students are preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Debit & Credit, Journal Entries, Ledger, and Trial Balance.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn practical accounting processes.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Tally/TallyPrime.
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation.
- Knowledge of Excel formulas.
- Basic understanding of financial statements.
- Previous academic accounting projects or relevant coursework.
