Our research department publishes market-leading information online for in-house counsel, external practitioners and industry leaders in core practice areas including international tax, international financial law, intellectual property, and litigation/arbitration.

Role Purpose

This role leads research execution across assigned jurisdictions and practice areas with a high degree of autonomy, producing high-quality analysis of law firm submissions, practitioner interviews and survey data to support rankings, editorial insight and awards decision-making. The role also owns day-to-day team workflow quality and contributes to the wider research strategy.





Key Responsibilities

1. Research Leadership & Analysis

• Lead comprehensive market research and competitive analysis, including legal trends and case studies, across assigned jurisdictions and practice areas.

• Evaluate and prepare law firm rankings, practitioner rankings and market analysis using qualitative and quantitative evidence (submissions, interviews, survey results, independent data).

• Prepare draft ranking proposals, awards recommendations and supporting rationale for review and final sign-off by the Head of Brand Research.

• Monitor global and regional trends to provide insight into market evolution.

2. Team & Workflow Ownership

• Own day-to-day delivery of team workflows, ensuring deadlines, trackers and research records are maintained accurately and consistently by junior analysts.
