We are seeking an experienced DB2 Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Mainframe DB2, IMS Database, Z/OS, and Database Security Administration. The ideal candidate will participate in the design, development, implementation, and support of complex database environments, leveraging both traditional and emerging technologies.

The role involves managing database security, recovery processes, performance optimization, and high-availability solutions across enterprise mainframe platforms. Candidates should possess solid analytical, troubleshooting, and technical leadership capabilities while working in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support DB2 and IMS database solutions on z/OS platforms.
- Manage database security controls and compliance requirements.
- Perform database recovery, backup, and disaster recovery planning activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex database-related issues.
- Support 24x7 mission-critical database environments.




- Implement database performance tuning and optimization strategies.
- Work with application teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to ensure database availability and reliability.
- Monitor database health using IBM and BMC utilities.
- Participate in change management, incident management, and problem management activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call support rotation as required.
