Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
- Develop and design recent control systems and instrumentation.
- Create and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for instrumentation and control systems.

2. Installation and Commissioning:
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Ensure all instruments and control systems are installed according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure instruments and control systems function efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults with instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Implement improvements and modifications to enhance system reliability and performance.

4. Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure all instrumentation complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform quality assurance checks and maintain calibration records.
- Adhere to industry standards and plant protocols.

5. Project Management:




- Manage instrumentation projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.

6. Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to the operations and maintenance teams.
- Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on instrumentation and control systems.

7. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse data from instrumentation systems to monitor plant performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on system performance and project status.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in a zinc or metallurgical plant.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in instrumentation and control systems.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and DCS.
