Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day nursing duties in the Ophthalmic OT and ensure the OT is fully prepared before and after every surgery.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and follow infection control, sterilization, and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Clean, disinfect, process, and properly store surgical instruments and ensure all required instrument sets are ready for procedures.
- Maintain OT inventory, including surgical consumables, medications, instruments, and emergency supplies; monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
- Maintain all required OT registers, sterilization records, stock records, surgical records, checklists, and other documentation.
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, organization, and overall maintenance of the OT and its equipment.
- Monitor patients as required during OT and recovery, including vital signs,



and promptly report any abnormalities to the medical team.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, CSSD, housekeeping, and other departments for smooth OT operations.
- Follow hospital policies and participate in OT quality improvement, training, and other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications
- ANM qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterilization, infection control, and surgical instrument handling.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and maintaining OT records and registers.
- Positive communication, teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to work flexible shifts.
