Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations and maintain proper inventory records.
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward materials.
- Issue stationery, academic materials, housekeeping supplies, electrical items, and other requirements to respective departments.
- Maintain stock registers and ensure timely updating of inventory in Excel/ERP.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate for timely replenishment.
- Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and systematic arrangement of materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Administration, Academic, Hostel, and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Follow proper approval procedures before issuing materials.
- Identify damaged, expired, excess, or slow-moving stock and report the same to the concerned authority.




- Support periodic stock audits and prepare inventory-related reports/MIS.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper utilization of the store area.
- Perform any other store-related responsibilities assigned by the management

Required Skills :
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic MS Office.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of purchase, GRN, material issue, and stock reconciliation processes will be an advantage.

Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 13 years of experience in Stores, Inventory, Administration, or a similar role.
- Experience in an educational institution, school, college, corporate office, or similar organization will be an added advantage.
