About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Student Counsellor to join our team at SOS. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through course/program options, address their queries, and support them in making informed decisions about their educational and career paths. This role requires excellent communication skills, a student-centric approach, and the ability to convert inquiries into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students (via phone, email, chat, or in-person) regarding available courses, programs, and career pathways
- Understand student requirements, academic background, and career goals to recommend suitable options
- Handle inbound inquiries and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and enrollment status in the CRM system
- Achieve individual and team counselling/enrollment targets
- Coordinate with the admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure a smooth student journey
- Conduct counselling sessions, webinars, or seminars as required
- Address student concerns and resolve queries promptly and professionally
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 1–2 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, academic advising, or a similar counselling/sales-oriented role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with the ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Empathetic, patient, and student-focused attitude
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience in the education/EdTech sector
- Multilingual ability is a plus
- Immediate joiners will be given preference

Salary: 10000- 15000
