Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, backend development, RESTful APIs, databases, and application performance. The role will involve developing scalable web applications, integrating APIs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with frontend and other technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Work with MVC architecture, ActiveRecord, and Rails conventions.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Identify and resolve bugs and production issues.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend processes.
- Develop and manage background jobs using Sidekiq/Redis.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests using RSpec/Minitest.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, and secure code.




- Work closely with frontend developers and other teams to deliver features.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and team-oriented development.
- Support deployment, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.
- Strong understanding of MVC, OOP, ActiveRecord, and REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RSpec/Minitest and automated testing.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of Redis and Sidekiq.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of API authentication and security.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Experience:
- Ruby on Rails: 5 years (Required)
