We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsman who can convert engineering concepts and designs into accurate, manufacturing-ready drawings and technical documentation.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for industrial machinery and machine components. The role involves working closely with mechanical engineers, production and fabrication teams to ensure that drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings,



fabrication drawings and assembly drawings for industrial machinery.
- Develop 3D models and machine components using CAD software.
- Prepare drawings for machine frames, shafts, brackets, plates, rollers, guards, assemblies and other mechanical components.
- Convert engineering concepts and sketches into accurate production-ready drawings.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and part lists.
- Include appropriate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications and manufacturing details in drawings.
- Prepare exploded views and assembly drawings wherever required.
- Modify existing drawings based on engineering and production requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers and the production/fabrication team to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Ensure drawings follow standard engineering practices and company drawing standards.
- Maintain proper revision control and documentation of drawing
