About the Role

We are hiring an Engagement Quality Control Reviewer (EQCR) for a leading Big 4 client. The role involves performing independent quality reviews of audit engagements, with a strong focus on US GAAP, Integrated Audits, PCAOB-regulated clients, and audit quality requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting and auditing expertise, excellent professional judgment, and hands-on experience reviewing complex audit engagements in a PCAOB-regulated environment.

Bangalore | Hyderabad | Kolkata

Experience

5 to 14 years of experience post CA/CPA qualification ONLY

Candidates with less than 5 years or more than 14 years of post-CA/CPA experience will not be considered.

Mandatory Qualification
- CA or CPA – Mandatory
- Active CA/CPA License – Mandatory
- 5–14 years of relevant experience post CA/CPA qualification

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience in all four of the following areas:
- US GAAP – Mandatory
- Integrated Audit – Mandatory




- PCAOB Regulatory / PCAOB-regulated Client Handling – Mandatory
- EQCR (Engagement Quality Control Review) – Mandatory

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Solid understanding of PCAOB auditing standards and requirements
- Hands-on experience with Integrated Audits
- Proven EQCR / Engagement Quality Control Review experience
- Strong knowledge of financial statement auditing and internal controls
- Experience with ICFR / SOX
- Ability to review complex accounting and auditing judgments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with senior leadership and global / US stakeholders
