Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Consultant / Senior Tax Consultant to support US Individual Tax compliance processes. The role involves preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, interpretation of US tax laws, client support, and audit assistance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with US Individual taxation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review US Individual income tax returns, including Federal (Form 1040 / 1040NR), State, and Local tax filings.
- Handle end-to-end tax compliance for federal, state, and city-level tax returns.
- Analyze tax data and interpret US tax laws to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Research tax planning opportunities and assess their impact on US income tax reporting.




- Support IRS and state tax audits by preparing responses, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and assess their impact on organizational and client requirements.
- Support clients with federal tax planning and state and local tax reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tax deliverables.
- Manage multiple tax engagements while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
- Provide guidance and review support to junior team members, where applicable.

Required Qualifications
- Education: B.Com / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in US Individual income tax compliance, including preparation and review of Federal, State, and Local tax returns.
- Strong working knowledge of US Individual taxation, including various state and local tax regulations.
