Role & responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to support business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate key e-commerce metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
- Analyse customer behaviour, purchase patterns, product performance, and campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with Business, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to identify opportunities for growth.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities through data mining techniques.
- Support forecasting, sales planning, and performance tracking initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.




- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the E-commerce/Retail domain.
- Solid proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with Excel (Advanced Functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
- Understanding of e-commerce KPIs such as Conversion Rate, AOV, CAC, CLV, Retention, and Cart Abandonment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.

Preferred candidate profile
- Experience working with marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or D2C platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and digital marketing metrics.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with A/B
