Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Power Electronics Intern to join our R&D; team. This role focuses on the design, simulation, and development of power electronic converters and control systems. It is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience by working on live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and simulation of power electronic converter topologies, such as buck converters, boost converters, and inverters, using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Support the development and testing of closed-loop control algorithms for motor drives and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Contribute to embedded firmware development for DSP controllers, particularly the TI C2000 family, under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging of power electronic prototypes.
- Document design iterations, test results, and technical findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PCB, Mechanical, and Testing teams, to support integrated system development.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations for internal reviews.
Requirements
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (pursuing or completed).
- Specialization in Power Electronics is preferred.
- Strong understanding of power converter design, control techniques, and modulation strategies.
- Proficiency in simulation and control design using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with embedded programming in C/C++ for DSP controllers, such as the TI C2000 family.
