Role : Merchandising Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising function, from product planning and customer requirements to product development, costing, production coordination, and final delivery. The Merchandising Manager ensures that products are developed according to market trends, customer expectations, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the Merchandising Team and allocate responsibilities according to business requirements.

· Develop merchandising plans based on sales trends, customer requirements, seasonal collections, and business targets.

· Coordinate with customers, buyers, designers, production teams, and suppliers to understand product requirements.

· Manage the complete product development process from concept/sample development to production and delivery.

· Coordinate with Design and Product Development teams for current sarees, fabrics, garments, dress materials, accessories, and textile collections.

· Review product specifications, samples, colors, fabrics, designs,



measurements, embellishments, and finishing requirements.

· Coordinate with the Purchase Team to ensure timely availability of required fabrics, yarns, trims, accessories, and other materials.

· Prepare and review cost sheets, quotations, pricing, margins, and commercial details.

· Negotiate with suppliers and vendors, where required, to achieve competitive pricing and quality.

· Coordinate with Production and PPC teams to establish realistic production schedules.

· Monitor order status from sampling and approval through production, quality inspection, packing, and dispatch.

· Track production and delivery timelines and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.

· Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure products meet approved samples and customer specifications.
