Job description:

We are looking for a qualified and well-mannered Housekeeping or Office Boy to join our team.

Job Objective

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in assigned areas to ensure a pleasant, safe, and healthy environment for guests/staff/residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, Cleaning of floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, etc.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, washbasins and other high-contact surfaces.
- Clean common areas/hallways, staircases, lobbies, entrance areas.
- Remove trash and waste; empty bins; ensure proper disposal.
- Refill/replace consumables like soap, toilet paper, towels, toiletries.
- Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards) to supervisor.
- Follow health, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Maintain appearance (uniform, personal hygiene) and behave respectfully with guests/residents/staff.
- Purchasing basic items from the stores
- Outdoor work

Requirements / Skills
- Basic literacy (able to read labels, instructions).




- Knowledge of cleaning methods and supplies.
- Physical stamina (able to stand, bend, kneel, lift moderate weight) for long hours.
- Attention to detail (ensuring corners, hidden spots are clean).
- Ability to work independently or under supervision.
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and honesty.

Preferred (optional) Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning/housekeeping.
- Familiarity with specific cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, polishers) or chemicals.
- Ability to work shifts, including early morning / night / weekends (if required).
- Knowledge of health & safety norms related to cleaning.

Working Conditions
- Indoor and possibly outdoor work.
- Lifting/carrying cleaning equipment or waste bins.
- Standing, walking, bending for long periods.
- Possible night shifts / holidays depending on employer.
