Position Overview

The Safety Manager will lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs for industrial facilities within JLL's Property & Development Solutions (PDS) division. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect the wellbeing of employees, contractors, and visitors across industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Program Management

Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive safety programs tailored to industrial environments including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution centers, and logistics facilities. Establish safety policies, procedures, and standards that align with OSHA regulations, local jurisdictions, and JLL best practices. Lead incident investigation processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations including OSHA standards,



EPA requirements, and industry-specific codes. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across assigned industrial properties. Maintain accurate safety documentation, permits, and reporting systems. Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.

Training and Development

Design and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management teams covering topics such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, fall protection, forklift operations, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response. Develop site-specific safety orientation programs for recent hires and contractors. Foster a strong safety culture through ongoing education, communication campaigns, and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
