Job Purpose

We are looking for a Pharma Competent Person – Wholesale Operations to oversee pharmaceutical wholesale activities and support compliance with applicable Drugs & Cosmetics laws, Drug Rules and requirements of the State Drug Licensing Authority.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that procurement, storage, sale, distribution,



documentation and handling of pharmaceutical products are carried out in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Competent Person for pharmaceutical wholesale operations, subject to approval/acceptance by the applicable Drug Licensing Authority.
- Support the application, maintenance and compliance requirements of the Wholesale Drug Licence.
- Supervise the procurement, receipt, storage, sale and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure medicines are procured only from appropriately licensed manufacturers, distributors or suppliers.
- Maintain and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, batch details, expiry records and other statutory documentation.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature and other applicable requirements for medicines.
- Monitor stock, batch numbers, expiry dates, damaged products, returns and recalls.
- Ensure appropriate handling and documentation of expired, recalled or returned
