Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Assistant System Administrator to support the IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and day-to-day technical operations of the organization. The candidate will assist in maintaining computers, servers, networks, software, and IT security while providing technical support to employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems and troubleshoot system-related issues.
- Provide hardware and software support to employees.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Assist in managing user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and email accounts.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, antivirus checks, and backups.




- Monitor server and network performance and report issues to the System Administrator.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic security procedures.
- Install and configure software and ensure proper licensing.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, networking, and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain records of IT incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
- Ensure IT systems follow organizational security and operational policies.
- Provide technical assistance during meetings, events, and other organizational activities.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic Linux.
- Basic understanding of Networking – TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office applicati
