Educational Qualification:

· BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

· Minimum 12 to 15 years of proven experience in purchase and procurement, preferably within Aluminium Piping’s or Compressor Industry

· Experience in leading and managing a purchase/procurement team.

· Hands-on experience in handling Letter of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantee (BG) is mandatory.

· Proficiency in operating ERP software (SAP B1 and Tally) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor, and manage the purchase team to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of materials.





· Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.

· Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

· Maintain and expand the supplier network to support multiple project needs.

· Review, approve, and process purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with company policies.

· Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.

· Monitor purchase budgets, track cost control measures, and ensure adherence to financial targets.

· Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor agreements, and reports.

· Solid negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization skills.
