Role & responsibilities :

1. Job Purpose

To support the laboratory and quality team in conducting chemical and physical testing of raw materials, process materials, adhesives/resins, and finished particle boards, ensuring compliance with specified quality standards and production requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Testing
- Conduct routine chemical and physical tests on raw materials, resin, wax, hardener, additives, and finished boards.
- Test particle board properties such as:
- Moisture content
- Density
- Thickness
- Internal Bond (IB)
- Modulus of Rupture (MOR)
- Modulus of Elasticity (MOE)
- Water absorption
- Thickness swelling
- Surface quality and bonding characteristics
- Perform resin-related tests such as viscosity, pH, solid content, gel time, and other specified parameters.
- Prepare samples and test specimens as per standard laboratory procedures.

Quality Control
- Monitor and record test results accurately in laboratory registers, check sheets, and digital systems.




- Immediately report deviations or abnormal test results to the Chemist and concerned production personnel.
- Support investigation of quality issues and assist in identifying possible causes.
- Ensure testing is carried out according to approved specifications and SOPs.

Chemical Handling & Laboratory Operations
- Handle laboratory chemicals, reagents, and samples safely.
- Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and chemical mixtures as required.
- Maintain proper labeling, storage, and inventory of laboratory chemicals.
- Ensure laboratory equipment and instruments are clean, calibrated, and maintained in working condition.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory housekeeping and 5S standards.

Production Support
- Coordinate with Production, Resin, Wood Preparation, Press, Sanding, and other departments regarding quality testing.
- Provide timely test results to production for process adjustments.
- Collect samples from different stages of production as per the sampling pla
