Responsibilities of an analytical Quality Assurance Executive -

Data Review and Compliance -

• Data auditing: Review raw analytical data, test logs, and electronic audit trails for

accuracy and completeness before batch release.

• SOP adherence: Verify that laboratory testing strictly follows approved standard

operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.

• Instrument oversight: Confirm that analytical equipment is calibrated, validated,

and maintained according to schedule.

Investigation and Problem Solving -

• OOS/OOC handling: Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT)

test results to find root causes.

• Deviation management: Document and track laboratory incidents, deviations, and

laboratory events.





• CAPA support: Help create and implement corrective and preventive actions

(CAPA) to stop recurring testing errors.

Training and Quality Improvement -

• Staff training: Provide ongoing quality and compliance training for laboratory

analysts.

• Internal audits: Perform routine self-inspections and internal audits of the QC

laboratory to prepare for external regulatory inspections.

• Documentation control: Update and manage quality documentation, test methods,

and specification sheets.
